"What would it take to fundamentally transform the Greater Fresno Region by 2030 and create opportunities for all residents to achieve real economic mobility by fostering an economy that is inclusive, vibrant and sustainable?"
The DRIVE Initiative is more than a plan – it is a clear and achievable roadmap to inclusive prosperity.

Through the application of a racial justice lens, CVCF's drive initiative focuses on human, neighborhood, and economic development through a racial justice lens.

The goal is to turn historically marginalized and deprived groups and communities in Fresno into thriving and lively communities as a vehicle to transform Fresno historically marginal and divested groups and communities into thriving and vibrant communities.

Empowering Communities Through Restorative Justice: The Transformative Communities Initiative

The Transformative Communities Initiative is a groundbreaking movement that aims to cultivate community-generated forms of safety in the South West Fresno region by placing restorative justice at its core.

Restorative justice emphasizes healing and reconciliation over punishment, fostering a sense of accountability and understanding among all parties involved in a conflict. By shifting the focus from punitive measures to repairing harm and rebuilding relationships, this approach holds the potential to transform communities and create a more inclusive and compassionate society.
